K-Pop Addiction!

I thought I am seriously done with Kpop. I mean, I will just enjoy the song of the popular bands, i will not fangirling towards them anymore, just pure music (and maybe a lil bit dance). I will not attracted to new rookies anymore, will just stick to the bands i know. Turns out i was wrong, because now I fall in love with Exo.

Yeah I’m not gonna spazzing here about Exo, you can google yourself (ye be warned). I just want to pour my thoughts regarding this thing. I feel that this fangirling thing is a guilty pleasure. I love to watch their videos (shows and fancams), browse their pics, etc. In the same time I feel that this is no good and i don’t gain any benefits from it, that this is just a waste of time, that I am too old for this shit stuff. I think I’m too old to chase after dongsaeng (boys who are younger than me) and screaming for their name. I shall not going crazy for their aegyo (cute actions), their winks, or their flaunted abs because it leads to addiction. It’s very normal to like their music or dance, but I think it’s too much if I fall deep into their personality and fan service. I followed their activities, googling their image, videos, and fancams wherever and whenever they are (which is very easily searched thanks to millions of fans and sasaeng (fanatic fans) who keep update the news and gossips of the idols). You can’t just ignore them, they will come to you through anything; web, socmeds, or even from some chit chat with your friends.

Well afterall, this is the charm of Kpop. You can’t just listen to their music (which is also in Korean btw), you will also can’t help to not danced along by watching their MVs. Once you saw the MV somehow you will love their makeup, fashion, dances, or expressions. And this is what makes Kpop different from any other bands from other country, each of the members shines in their own way. Each members have their own charisma, thus they usually have equal fans amongs the other members. Camera will shoot them equally and show their talents. This ain’t no Destiny’s Child.

You cannot stop just by watching their MVs. That’s why I don’t want to explore new rookies, just stick to the debuted artists. But yeah, I know Exo since their debut last year and their music is very catchy, and the members are so cute yet handsome, so yeah...can’t help it OTL. I hope they are the last boyband that I will enjoy.

Oh look, their videos of them attending as a guest on a radio is out. Aww drat.
